Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. As an anchor for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing after she was awarded an pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Her self-made videos about NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 the 10th of December, 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton following the time Vincie began high school. Vincie is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret and has a younger sister. Vincie's grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a teacher in the fifth grade and her grandfather was a professor of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always had an interest in from an early age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie was an athlete in the track and field and served as the school's coach for four years. Vincie won in the 800-meter race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with a wealth of information. She completed her degree at Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern for the athletics division of the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior thesis about gender-based disparities in auto racing that focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She was interested in the sport once she was granted a pit lane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her inspirations are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda as well as Wendy Venturini.
