Paula Faris

Paula Faris is an American journalist who formerly worked as a television correspondent for ABC News. Her roles as co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) as well as co-host on The View (2015-2018) are well-known. Prior to this, she was co-anchor of America This Morning (World News Now) and America This Morning (America This Morning). After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. She held a job in sales of radio stations because of the limited opportunities for television. She was recruited as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant, and later became a reporter and anchor. From 2002 until 2005, she was the sports anchor for weekends as well as the sports anchor for weekdays at the station WCPO in Cincinnati. After her contract expired and she became a anchor and reporter for sports at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago between November 2005 and December 2011. In December 2011 it was announced that she was hired by the news division of ABC, ABC News. The 2nd of January, 2012, she made her debut on ABC's World News Now and America This Morning. She was a reporter and fill-in for Good Morning America during this time. She was later promoted as a reporter based in New York for the entire ABC News programs. The program was not able for her to get to the last episode of World News Now or America This Morning. The show aired on January 22nd the 22nd of January 2013. She made her debut on Good Morning America Weekend as co-anchor on the 9th of August 2014. This came after Bianna Golodryga shifted to Yahoo! News. ABC announced that she would join The View as a cohost for season 19. Her contract was renewed by ABC for its 20th season on August 3. She was also confirmed as a co-host for Season 21. She was most visible during the 22nd and 21st seasons of the series.
