Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television personality in the United States and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond hair and an ebullient personality, explains how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell also has worked in several of the city's most prestigious eateries, learned about the Italian food and culture as well as was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for food and cooking from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had my most memorable time in my life. I just couldn't get enough enjoyment from the experience. When I graduated of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. While in Italy, she developed an appreciation for and knowledge of Italian food and culture. It is a huge influence on the way that Burrell approaches her cuisine. Burrell was a Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to improve the quality of life for children facing challenges. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation celebrity ambassador and advocates awareness of the dangers of childhood diabetes. as a speaker, guest and mentor, she travels around the U.S. to share her love for cooking and profession. Anne has stated throughout her culinary career she's grateful to share with others what is truly important for her.

Mary McDonnell is an actress who has been nominated for two Oscars(r). She is well-known for her portrayals of characters in period and contemporary screen roles. Mary Eileen McDonnell was born on the 28th of April 1952 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Eileen (Mundy) and John McDonnell, a computer consultant, both of Irish origin.
